Recently completed MGB V8 project wins modified class at annual car show!

June 14th, 2003 -- Auto-Mann recently completed MGB V8 conversion #4, for client Chris Caso-Rohland, just in time for the MG Car Club of Calgary annual event called Britfest. This 1978 MGB was converted from standard 1800 cc 4 cylinder with overdrive, to a high specification Rover 3.5 liter V8 and Toyota 5 speed transmission. The engine is expected to produce between 220 to 250 HP at the flywheel. The very efficient Toyota 5 speed will allow this vehicle to produce 180 to 210 HP at the rear wheels.
