Now that most minivans come from the factory with 200+ hp, we had to come up with a solution to keep our MG's fun in today's driving environment.
V8 power provides for the ultimate MGB for today's driving environment!

If your MGB is a good clean example, it may not require any body restoration work before the V8 conversion.
Bare body restoration – Body shell bead blasted to bare metal, front & rear indicator light, and bumper mount body modifications for chrome bumper conversion. Hood louvered for aggressive look and additional cooling, tunnel raised to fit Rover 5 Speed Transmission. Fuel tank relocated to for true dual exhaust, Rear spring chassis mounts reinforced and extended by addition of frame rails connecting to the chassis jacking point (like the factor MG RV8 of the 90’s).

Finished in your choice of color, MGB LE decals, stainless steel splash shields, new chrome bumpers front & rear, mud flaps front & rear, new stainless mesh grill, gas charged telescopic hood and trunk props, new deluxe carpets including trunk, new interior body and door panels, and center console lid with choice of trim, dual roll bar with cover and wind stop, new seals and rubber on all body seams, new door handle trim. New walnut or graphite dash, center console, shifter knob, door caps, armrests, and window winders. Rover V8 tach and matching speedo, mohair top – frame serviced and painted black, new header catches – satin finish, front air dam, Custom Sound System as specified – retracting antenna, Miata, Sparco, or Konig bucket seats as specified, MGB seatbelt pads.

Rover 3.5 aluminum V8, bored .020” over, 9.6:1 compression pistons, and performance “typhoon” cam, just rebuilt with new rings, bearings, all seals, and gaskets, zero miles. Rover fuel injection system, high-pressure fuel pump, ceramic-coated headers, dual exhaust, return pipe system for fuel injection. K&N intake, remote oil filter, stainless oil lines, 13 row oil cooler, twin electric fans, thermostatic fan control, MGB V8 GT radiator, Kevlar top & bottom radiator hoses, and electronic ignition.
Rover, Toyota, or T-5 Five speed transmission with heavy-duty clutch, rear end rebuilt with new thrust washers and bearings, 3.9:1, 3.08:1, or other ratio as specified, new custom heavy-duty drive shaft.
New springs lowering ride height (1” drop) to chrome bumper specifications, aluminum block used to drop rear 0.5” further, V8 bushings, rebuilt king pins, rebuilt steering rack (new bearings & boots), koni shocks front & rear, anti tramp bars at rear, 1” sway bar at front, stock bar at rear, poly bushings.
Adjustable front coil over and independent rear suspension is also available for the serious enthusiast.
5.5” X 15 Minilite alloy wheels with 196-60-15 continental CP90 radials.
